Report: Chelsea Green Claims WWE Haven't Reached Out To Her About Return

It was recently reported that Chelsea Green was finished up with IMPACT Wrestling, with a potential WWE return on the cards for the ‘Hot Mess’.

However, a new report from Fightful Select suggests such reports were premature, with Green herself stating that WWE haven’t reached out about a potential return, with Green still part of NWA and booked on the independent scene heading into 2023.

WWE are currently in the midst of a women’s division rebuild, with the likes of Emma, IYO SKY, and Dakota Kai having been brought back into the company by Triple H, whilst reports suggest that the likes of Mia Yim, and Tegan Nox are also on WWE’s radar.

Green wrestled for WWE between 2018 and 2021, but her run was hampered by injury problems, with Green suffering major wrist injuries on both her NXT TV debut, and her WWE SmackDown TV debut.

After leaving WWE, Green has been booked by the likes of IMPACT, NWA, ROH, and GCW amongst others, having recently reigned as one half of the IMPACT Women’s Tag Team Champions alongside Deonna Purrazzo as VXT.
