Christopher Daniels may not be completely done in the ring

Unlike in other sports, retirements never seem to last in professional wrestling and Christopher Daniels may eventually follow in the footsteps of Terry Funk, Ric Flair, Mick Foley and more in having at least one more match after the end of his in-ring career.
Daniels confirmed on Wednesday night's edition of Dynamite that he was retired from pro wrestling after doctors advised him to never wrestle again following his Texas Death Match loss to Hangman Page on Collision. Daniels then stated that he hoped Page was happy, a comment which appeared to leave the former AEW World Champion conflicted.
Although the Texas Death Match was planned to be Daniels' last match, Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that he has been told Daniels may wrestle again at a later date.
"I've had people say to me that he's not wrestling again for now but they're shooting an angle and he may wrestle again later. But, you know, there's definitely an angle that this is all turning into. That much I know," Meltzer said.
While he may eventually make a comeback, Daniels is retired for the time being following over 30 years in the squared circle. Curry Man's status remains unknown.
