Report: CM Punk & Jack Perry Suspended By AEW Following All In Altercation

Jack Perry and CM Punk have been suspended by AEW

CM Punk and Jack Perry have been suspended by All Elite Wrestling, according to Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated.

The suspensions were dished out following a backstage altercation between Punk and Perry at Sunday's All In pay-per-view at Wembley Stadium. The altercation took place between Perry's Zero Hour match with HOOK and Punk's opening contest against Samoa Joe, with the incident happening after Perry took a shot at Punk during his match with HOOK, saying, "It's real glass, cry me a river". This was in reference to an argument Punk and Perry had earlier this summer and Perry was reportedly unhappy about Punk's side making the confrontation public knowledge.

There have been differing accounts about who instigated the fracas but it has been widely reported there was an altercation after words were exchanged, with Punk either choking or putting Perry in a face lock. Punches may have also been thrown.

Punk and Perry will remain suspended until an investigation into the incident is completed. Tony Khan announced AEW would be investigating what happened at All In during the post-show media scrum.

This is CM Punk's second suspension in 12 months, having previously been sent home after his backstage fight with The Elite alongside Ace Steel following 2022's All Out pay-per-view. The fight broke out after Punk's infamous post-All Out media scrum rant.
