Report: CM Punk Claims He Had A Discussion With 'WWE Higher Up'

There isn’t a day that goes by without talk of CM Punk, especially in the recent build up to the 2023 Survivor Series premium live event which is being held in CM Punk’s hometown of Chicago. 

Talk of him going to WWE has been rampant online, though nothing concrete has emerged in terms of him actually going to the company. There is one minor development though, and it comes from Fightful Select in a CM Punk Q&A, where it is stated that Punk has claimed to someone close to him that he recently talked to a WWE ‘higher up’. 

This report doesn’t delve much further, stating that there was no actual context given to what Punk and this ‘WWE higher up’ spoke about. It must be noted that this is one minor piece of talk that suggests Punk has a chance of a WWE return any time soon, as other news in the last week has pointed towards him not coming back, with top talents being outright told that a Punk return was not happening.
