Report: CM Punk Might Never Wrestle Again

CM Punk might be done with pro wrestling

While CM Punk looks to be finished in All Elite Wrestling, his future in professional wrestling as a whole is now in doubt.

Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Nick Hausman reported that a lot of people who have known Punk have said the two-time AEW World Champion will never wrestle again.

"Cash does not seem to be an issue for this guy. He's got in-roads in Hollywood going on right now. Stephen Amell certainly shining him up with what they're trying to do over on Heels right now. I have a lot of people that have known Punk that say to me, 'This guy's never gonna wrestle again,'" Hausman said.

Punk spent seven years away from professional wrestling between 2014 and 2021 before he made his AEW debut. His run in the company quickly turned sour, though, and he has been suspended since a backstage fight with Ace Steel and The Elite following his post-All Out media scrum on September 4.

The 44-year-old is reportedly in talks with AEW over a contract buyout and most of the promotion's top stars have said they would not work with Punk if he somehow returns to TV.
