Report: Details On More AEW Talents WWE Has Reached Out To

Who else did WWE contact?

A new report from Fightful Select has revealed the names of several former WWE talents presently working for AEW that have been contacted by their former employer regarding possible returns.

A source within WWE said that feelers were sent out to Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler of FTR. The former Revival members have a considerable amount of time left on their AEW deals, and currently hold (among other championships) the ROH World Tag Team titles.

Another name "widely known within AEW" to have been contacted is Swerve Strickland. Swerve's former Hit Row stablemates resurfaced in WWE, but Strickland made it known publicly that he's happy in AEW.

The report notes that an AEW source told them that WWE had reached out to, "...an AEW name who had been with the company since the start." While that name isn't known, the source says it's surprising that WWE reached out to that person.

The report comes on the heels of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's story on Friday regarding WWE reaching out to select AEW talents. The WON story named Malakai Black, who recently parted ways with AEW, but reportedly has a considerable non-compete period remaining before he could return to WWE.
