Report: Update On When Elias Will Return To WWE
When will Elias be back?
While he has only made a couple of appearances on WWE TV in 2022, Elias will be coming back to the company permanently, having replaced his storyline younger brother Ezekiel on the company's internal roster.
Ezekiel was written off TV on the August 8 edition of Monday Night Raw following a brutal attack by Kevin Owens that left Zeke needing to be stretchered out of the venue.
When exactly Elias will be returning has not been confirmed but Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The Drifter is scheduled to return after his beard grows back. Jeffrey Sciullo, who portrayed both Elias and Ezekiel, shaved off his beard ahead of being repackaged as Zeke on the Raw after WrestleMania.
On average, it takes two to four months for a man's beard to grow back so Elias would likely be back on WWE TV by the end of 2022. Sciullo wore a postiche for his return as Elias on the June 20 edition of Raw.
