Eardrums were rupturing everywhere during the main event of Survivor Series WarGames.

The final match at the November 26 pay-per-view saw The Bloodline take on the Brawling Brutes, Drew McIntyre, and Kevin Owens. It had already emerged that Roman Reigns suffered a ruptured eardrum after a slap from Kevin Owens and Reigns was initially unhappy with Owens until any potential heat blew over after 20 minutes.

Reigns isn't the only one who left Survivor Series with an injury, though, and Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Drew McIntyre also suffered a ruptured eardrum at the pay-per-view. When exactly McIntyre sustained the injury is unknown.

McIntyre worked the following night's house show after Survivor Series as he didn't realise how badly hurt he was until he was examined after the event. WWE have since medically disqualified McIntyre from wrestling on the December 9 episode of SmackDown and Butch will team with Sheamus to challenge The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Titles instead.

McIntyre will be back in action in a couple of weeks and he is scheduled to team with the Brawling Brutes against The Usos, Solo Sikoa, and Sami Zayn in the main event of WWE's Madison Square Garden house show on December 26.
