All Elite Wrestling have recently been buoyed by the re-signing of RUSH, but it seems the former ROH World Champion isn’t the only star to have put pen to paper on a new deal with the company.

Per a report from Fightful Select, Dustin Rhodes has signed a new AEW deal, with ‘The Natural’ set to extend his AEW stay. It was originally believed that Dustin’s deal was up in July 2023, with some hoping Rhodes could return to WWE to aid brother Cody in his fight with Brock Lesnar, but it’s now believed that Dustin is signed up until September 2024 at the very least.

Rhodes himself has made reference to the fact that his in-ring days are numbered and it remains to be seen if Rhodes’ new deal is purely an in-ring contract, or if he will fully transition to a backstage role should he retire in an AEW ring.

Dustin has been with AEW since its inception, working as both an on-screen talent and a backstage coach. During his time in the company he has been involved with the likes of Cody Rhodes, QT Marshall, and Keith Lee in televised programmes. Rhodes has so far wrestled eight matches in 2023.
