Report: Elias Removed From WWE Internal Roster

No more Elias in WWE

Elias is officially done with WWE.

Jeffrey Sciullo, the man who portrayed Elias, returned to WWE TV on the Raw after WrestleMania and claimed he was actually Elias' younger brother, Ezekiel.

The 34-year-old interrupted Kevin Owens to do the reveal but KO was so annoyed at the idea Ezekiel wasn't a repackaged Elias that he walked out on the segment in anger.

Following Ezekiel's debut, WWE have removed Elias from the internal roster, according to PWInsider, meaning the former Drifter will be going by his Ezekiel persona for at least the time being.

Ezekiel will remain on Monday Night Raw and will be portrayed as a babyface moving forward.

Elias had been a featured performer on WWE TV for several years but he disappeared from Raw after he threw his trademark guitar into the fire and announced Elias was dead in August of 2021.

WWE had seemingly been working on repackaging Elias since then and initial plans were in place for him to debut with colourful trunks but that was scrapped after Vince McMahon deemed the gimmick to be too close to that of 'Macho Man' Randy Savage.
