Report: Excalibur Returning To AEW: Dynamite Next Week

He's missed the last 2 episodes...

All Elite Wrestling commentator Excalibur has been missing from the announcer's table on the last two episodes of Dynamite. While nothing has been said publicly about his absence, old footage of Excalibur using the n-word during a Pro Wrestling Guerrilla angle in 2003 resurfaced last week and Dave Meltzer noted the announcer had asked to be kept off the show despite travelling to Jacksonville, Florida.

Meltzer provided an update on the situation in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter and he revealed the PWG founder will be flying out to Daily's Place next week, and unless things, he will back in the commentary booth on the August 12 edition of Dynamite.

Next week's show promises to be a blockbuster episode as Cody will defend the TNT Championship against Scorpio Sky, and Orange Cassidy and Chris Jericho will go one on one in a rematch from Fyter Fest. The young promotion will also celebrate Tag Team Appreciation Night as the AEW World Tag Team Champions Kenny Omega and "Hangman" Adam Page will take on Jurassic Express, while The Young Bucks will clash with Dark Order.
