Report: WWE To Resume Developmental Classes On Monday

They'd been shut down through the pandemic...

Training sessions for WWE's developmental talents are set to resume on Monday, August 10, according to report from Dave Meltzer in this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

The classes have been shut down throughout the pandemic, in part due to the Performance Center becoming the home of WWE's television shows, in lieu of filming at different arenas. However, the classes will not be returning to the PC itself at this time.

Writes Meltzer, "They will not be training at the Performance Center but at a warehouse right near the Performance Center which will be set up with a few rings. What we were told is that everyone will get tested on Sunday so they’ll have the results back every Monday.

"Only two people will be allowed in the ring together at any time. Everyone not in the ring must have masks on. Everyone in NXT, including the guys on television have to attend the classes."

Until regular touring resumes at some indeterminate point, WWE will understandably continue to film its weekly TV shows at the Performance Center.
