Report: Former NXT Talent Signs With WWE In Coaching Role

A former talent is back with WWE full-time

A former NXT star has rejoined WWE.

Reports this week noted that Biff Busick (AKA Oney Lorcan) was back with WWE, working as a guest coach at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida. In an update, though, Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter has reported that Busick is actually signed to WWE as a full-time coach at the training facility and has been "for a while."

The 36-year-old previously spent six years in WWE as an in-ring talent, competing on the NXT brand from 2015 until he was released in November 2021. Busick is a former NXT Tag Team Champion and held the gold with Danny Burch.

After his release, Busick returned to the independent wrestling scene, competing for the likes of PWG, GCW, and Beyond Wrestling. He stepped away from the ring in July, announcing that he would be taking some time off.

Along with Busick, WWE have the likes of Matt Bloom, Norman Smiley, Robbie Brookside, and Terry Taylor under contract as coaches at the Performance Center.
