Bandido Not Signed To AEW, Has Received WWE Offer

Reports had stated that Bandido had signed a deal with AEW

After impressing during his AEW debut match on the September 28 edition of Dynamite, it was believed that AEW made a formal offer to Bandido in order to tie down his services with WWE allegedly waiting in the wings with an offer of their own.

Since then it was reported that Bandido had signed with AEW, but these reports appear to be off the mark, with The Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer revealing that his initial report was incorrect and that sources close to Bandido insist he has not signed with AEW.

Bandido himself spoke with Mas Lucha saying he was in talks with AEW, and also confirmed that WWE had made a formal offer for his services. Bandido continued by saying that Tony Khan and Chris Jericho personally tried to convince him to sign with AEW after his bout with Jericho on September 28, with Bandido claiming that Khan said he “needed” the former ROH World Champion to become All Elite.

Whilst this latest news may seem like a bump in the road for AEW, Bandido admitted in his Mas Lucha interview that he will ‘likely’ sign with the company.
