All Elite Wrestling have signed a top free agent to a full-time deal.

According to Fightful Select, Bandido has "agreed to terms" with AEW. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer later confirmed that Bandido had signed a full-time contract with the promotion. The length of his deal is unknown.

Bandido made his AEW debut last week, unsuccessfully challenging Chris Jericho for the ROH World Championship in the main event of Dynamite. The luchador was impressive during the match, earning rave reviews and receiving loud cheers from the fans in Philadelphia.

He was offered an AEW deal immediately after the match. Reports noted that WWE were looking to get in touch with Bandido while he was still in the ring on Dynamite. The organisation were seemingly too late in their pursuit, though.

Fightful reported there was interest in Bandido from numerous companies. He had already debuted in MLW and IMPACT in 2022 and the luchador is a former ROH World Champion and PWG World Champion.
