After recently signing with AEW, many hoped it would only be a matter of time before Saraya got physical in an AEW ring.

After reports emerged that the former WWE Divas Champion had not been cleared for an in-ring return, she engaged in a post-match brawl on the October 5 edition of Dynamite, exchanging punches with Britt Baker and superkicking Rebel after Willow Nightingale, Athena, and Toni Storm defeated Jamie Hayter, Penelope Ford, and Serena Deeb in trios action.

Whilst there are still no reports at the time of writing of Saraya being cleared for an in-ring return, the fact she got physical at all suggests there is the possibility that she may have been given the go-ahead by doctors, with reports suggesting the amount of money Saraya is reportedly earning in the company suggests there could be a wrestling role in her future.

Saraya last wrestled in December 2017, where the then Paige teamed with Absolution teammates Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville in a six-woman tag match against Mickie James, Bayley, and Sasha Banks at a WWE house show in Uniondale, New York. Saraya was then forced to retire from in-ring competition due to a bad neck injury sustained during the match.
