Report: Frustration & Disappointment Within WWE NXT Over Karrion Kross Raw Loss

After wrestling in main roster dark matches and on Main Event, Karrion Kross finally made his Monday Night Raw debut on July 19. The match against Jeff Hardy didn't go as many expected, however, as The Charismatic Enigma used the ropes to defeat Kross within 100 seconds, handing the NXT Champion his first singles loss in WWE. 

It was noted following the defeat that an NXT Superstar thought Vince McMahon booked Kross to lose his Raw debut to send a message to the black and gold brand and more reaction from NXT has emerged, courtesy of Fightful Select. 

There was reportedly "significant frustration" amongst NXT staff and talent over the loss, particularly because the likes of Finn Balor, Adam Cole, Johnny Gargano and others helped put Kross over as a dominant force on Tuesday nights. 

The general mood within the brand was also said to be a "not mad, disappointed vibe" as they believe the loss was a sign of how WWE management views NXT. 

Kross himself was reportedly in good spirits following the loss. A Superstar did mention that The Herald Of Doomsday was put in a difficult position, though, with being a new Superstar on Raw while being protected on NXT.
