Report: Further Update On AEW Creative Team & MJF's Booking

More on the AEW creative team

While Tony Khan has been the head booker in All Elite Wrestling since late 2019 when he moved away from more of a committee process, reports last week revealed that key individuals in assisting Khan with creative are QT Marshall and Sonjay Dutt. Below that level, Pat Buck, Jerry Lynn, Christopher Daniels, Dean Malenko, and new hire Will Washington were involved in last week's creative meeting.

The likes of The Elite, MJF, Chris Jericho, Bryan Danielson, Jon Moxley, FTR, and CM Punk also have a lot of input on their own storylines on AEW programming.

In an update, Pat Buck appears to be more involved than initially believed. Fightful Select reported that Buck is "heavily involved" with the AEW creative team, especially with the promotion's booking of MJF. Buck and the AEW World Champion are believed to be close as MJF trained to become a pro wrestler at Buck and Brian Myers' Create A Pro wrestling school.

Buck has been a part of AEW since April 2022, joining the organisation only 10 days after he left WWE. The 38-year-old was appointed Vice President of Talent Development in August 2022.
