Report: Further Update On WWE WrestleMania 38 Battle Royals

What next for the WrestleMania 38 Battle Royals?

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Battle Royals had been a regular occurrence on the WrestleMania card since 2014, beginning with the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal before the Women's Battle Royal was introduced in 2018 at WrestleMania 34.

Neither match has been announced for WrestleMania 38 as of yet, although it was previously reported that the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal was likely to take place on the April 1 edition of SmackDown, similar to last year's match, while the Women's Battle Royal would be added to the WrestleMania 38 card at some point.

In an update, Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there had been "no talk" of any Battle Royals taking place at WrestleMania, although the Men's Battle Royal was a possibility for the March 28 edition of Raw in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania depending on WWE's plans for the match.

Since WrestleMania 30, the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal has been won by Cesaro, The Big Show, Baron Corbin, Mojo Rawley, Matt Hardy, Braun Strowman and Jey Uso. The Women's Battle Royal, meanwhile, was won by Naomi in 2018 and Carmella in 2019.
