Report: 'Hang-Ups' In Negotiations Over Sasha Banks WWE Return

Sasha Banks has been away from WWE since she and Naomi walked out of the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw over a creative dispute. The pair were suspended following the incident and stripped of the Women's Tag Team Titles.

It was believed that Banks and Naomi were no longer with WWE but Dave Meltzer reported in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that The Boss is still under contract with the organisation. There is no word on when Banks will return, though, as there have reportedly been "hang-ups" in negotiations over a new deal.  

Banks has been training in the ring recently in Spain and she has remained in the public eye with Naomi during their WWE absences, appearing at the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever premiere last week. 

Naomi has also reportedly been in talks over a WWE return but there have been issues with her own negotiations. She remains bound by her old contract and she is unable to sign elsewhere since WWE have the option to freeze her contract for the time she has been suspended.
