Report: IMPACT Wrestling Tag Team Likely Splitting Up

IMPACT could be without one of their top tag teams...

The IMPACT Wrestling tag team division was depleted a few weeks ago when Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz opted to depart the promotion. They have since signed with WWE.

IMPACT is likely to lose another top tag team soon, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer. Ethan Page's contract expires at the end of the year and the company and the star's friends believe he has finished up with the promotion.

All Ego's likely departure from IMPACT would result in The North splitting up as Josh Alexander is reportedly under contract for another nine months.

Page and Alexander have been teaming together on and off for nine years, first as The Monster Mafia on the indies and then as The North in IMPACT. During their run in the company, they have twice captured the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship and they held the title for a record 380 days during their first reign.

Where Page will end up if he does leave IMPACT remains to be seen, but reports in the summer noted AEW were interested in signing him.
