Report: Injured WWE Star Close To Return?

An injured WWE veteran is getting closer to an in-ring return

An injured WWE star could be close to making their return, according to a recent report.

PWInsider reported that R-Truth was spotted in Birmingham, Alabama last week. It added that the 51-year-old was likely there getting checked up as part of the process for a potential return to the ring.

Truth tore his quad while attempting a flip dive over the top rope during his match with Grayson Waller on the November 1, 2022 episode of NXT. The match was stopped when it became apparent that Truth was injured.

The former United States Champion's return to action has already been delayed due to an infection Truth suffered, which required a separate procedure to remedy.

Speaking about his recovery process in January, Truth said:

"Still healing up. Still healing up from my quad injury. I'm going back to WWE. I just have to heal up. I had to have two surgeries, a lot of people don't know that. I caught an infection, so I had to have another surgery. That set me back, but y'all know me, I'm coming back probably sooner than y'all think".

Truth teased in April that he would be returning to the ring 'soon'.
