During 2020, multiple wrestlers and personalities have moved on from the National Wrestling Alliance. Former NWA World Television Champion Ricky Starks signed with All Elite Wrestling in June and the young promotion added Eddie Kingston to the roster a month later. Wade Barrett also recently returned to WWE as the colour commentator on NXT and a report from Mike Johnson of PWInsider over the weekend noted Melina would be joining him. The A-List Diva has denied the report, however.

Another star of NWA Powerrr's contract expired earlier this year, according to Fightful Select. They reported "Cowboy" James Storm's deal with the promotion ran out on February 1, only days after he and Eli Drake captured the NWA World Tag Team Championship at the Hard Times pay-per-view.

Storm may well re-sign with the NWA but The Cowboy hasn't been advertised for UWN Primetime LIVE. Storm hasn't wrestled at all during the pandemic and his last match was at Extreme Annihilation Wrestling Survive The Night on March 14.
