Report: Jamie Hayter Praised For Working AEW Double Or Nothing

Jamie Hayter is out of action with back issues

Despite dealing with an injury, Jamie Hayter worked All Elite Wrestling's Double or Nothing pay-per-view on Sunday, May 28 as she defended the AEW Women's World Title against Toni Storm.

Hayter has been suffering from a legitimate injury in recent weeks and the match against Storm was filled with shenanigans as it was reportedly clear to people within AEW that Hayter wouldn't have been able to work a full match. Hayter ended up dropping the title to Toni Storm at Double or Nothing and it is unknown when Hayter will return to AEW TV.

As Hayter worked the match injured, a lot of people praised the former AEW Women's World Champion, according to PWInsider Elite. It was also noted that Hayter is dealing with back issues, which is why she will be out of action.

Prior to Double or Nothing, Hayter had been AEW Women's World Champion since she defeated Toni Storm for the then-interim title at Full Gear in November 2022. Her reign lasted 190 days.
