Jeff Hardy

On the March 13 episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Jeff Hardy returned to WWE TV and wrestled in his first match in almost a year against King Corbin. The Charismatic Enigma picked up where he left off as he vanquished Corbin in under 3 minutes after connecting with the Swanton Bomb.

Hardy hasn't stepped inside the squared circle since then, but he has remained in the news as he recently revealed WWE had agreed to bring back his "No More Words" entrance theme, the music he used during his most successful run with the company.

The extremely popular song almost accompanied Jeff in another world title victory, as WrestleTalk revealed the three-time world champion was one of two possible replacements for Roman Reigns in his Universal Championship match with Goldberg. WWE ultimately decided to go with Braun Strowman at WrestleMania 36 instead, however.

If the company had chosen Hardy, he would have left The Showcase Of The Immortals as Universal Champion because a title change was guaranteed after Goldberg refused to extend his WWE deal beyond April 5.
