Don't expect to see John Cena on WWE TV for the rest of February.

According to PWInsider, Cena has already travelled back to Budapest, Hungary following the 2025 Royal Rumble. The 16-time world champion is not scheduled for another appearance on WWE programming until the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view/premium live event on March 1.

Cena is in Budapest filming the upcoming Matchbox movie based on Mattel's die-cast toy vehicle line. Cena is the star of the movie that is being produced by Apple Original Films and Mattel Films.

Filming of Matchbox is the reason Cena has only appeared on WWE TV for the Raw Netflix premiere and the Royal Rumble so far in 2025. Cena is currently on his retirement tour and he will finish his in-ring career at the end of the year.

Cena previously announced that he is scheduled to work around 36 dates for WWE in 2025 so he will seemingly be a lot more active on WWE TV following the Elimination Chamber.

The 47-year-old has already declared for the Men's Elimination Chamber match at the March 1 pay-per-view. CM Punk has also qualified for the match.
