Roman Reigns staring at Seth Rollins at WWE Royal Rumble 2025

We’re on the road to WrestleMania 41, and after the events of the Royal Rumble it looks like we’re heading towards CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns at the event.

The three tangled in the Men’s Rumble match, with Rollins hitting a nasty pair of curb stomps on Reigns on the floor and steel steps before he and Punk brawled. Reigns was later said to be ‘out of action’ during the February 3 edition of Raw, but a report from PWInsider states this is kayfabe as the plan is for the three men to clash at Mania in a Triple Threat.

Punk and Rollins have long been feuding, with Punk getting a singles win over the ‘Visionary’ on the Netflix debut of Raw in early January, whilst Punk and Reigns have only ever faced off in singles competition on one occasion, with Reigns getting a win over Punk on Raw in January 2014.

The history between Rollins and Reigns is long and complex, with the two last clashing at WrestleMania XL night one back in 2024, with Rollins and Cody Rhodes losing to Reigns and The Rock in the night’s main event. Rollins and Reigns last clashed in singles competition at the 2022 Royal Rumble in a match Rollins won by DQ.
