Report: John Cena Vs. Logan Paul Still 'On The Table'

John Cena vs. Logan Paul might still happen in WWE

John Cena will challenge Austin Theory for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 39 on April 1 or April 2 but that wasn't the original plan for the 16-time world champion at the Showcase of the Immortals. It has previously been revealed that Cena was set to face Logan Paul at WrestleMania until WWE pivoted to the match with Theory.

While it won't be taking place at 'Mania, a match between John Cena and Logan Paul remains "very much on the table" for a future WWE show, WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport.

"Logan loved the idea and Cena was totally down on it. They'd have made mega money and it's just a matter of when. They want to tell a good story because they're megastars, so there's got to be a reason. The match is very much on the table, even at a SummerSlam. All parties involved want to do it," WrestleVotes said.

Both Cena and Logan Paul work part-time schedules for WWE, showing up for the company's biggest shows of the year. Instead of Cena, Logan Paul will go one-on-one with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 39. He previously revealed the match will take place on April 1, which also happens to be Paul's birthday.
