Report: Keith Lee In Talks With AEW

A former WWE talent looks set to join All Elite Wrestling.

According to Wrestling Observer's Dave Meltzer, AEW are in talks with Keith Lee and the promotion are pretty close to signing the former NXT Champion if he hasn't already signed on the dotted line. 

"I know they've been talking to Keith Lee, I know that they were pretty close with Keith Lee if it's not already a done deal. It probably is a done deal. I don't know that 'officially', but that's kind of been the word going around," Meltzer said on Wrestling Observer Radio.

This comes after it emerged on Friday that Lee could be AEW bound. 

AEW President Tony Khan also revealed during Friday's episode of Rampage that a "top wrestler" would step through the forbidden door on the February 9 episode of Dynamite and any talent is "welcome to slam the door in the face of their prior company."

Keith Lee previously performed in WWE from 2018 until his release in November 2021. He is a former NXT and NXT North American Champion.
