Laredo Kid Signs With IMPACT Wrestling

The X Division is bolstering its ranks

AAA star Laredo Kid has confirmed that he has signed a contract with IMPACT Wrestling, after appearing several times for the promotion over the past year.

Laredo Kid confirmed the news in two different interviews - per a report from Wrestling Observer Online - but did not disclose any information specific to his deal, such as length of time etc.

It is believed that his deal will be similar to other IMPACT deals, meaning he will be able to work for other companies as long as there are no conflicts, with IMPACT getting first choice on Laredo Kid’s availability.

Laredo Kid has had several spells with IMPACT/TNA, first appearing for the promotion in 2017 teaming with fellow AAA star Garza Jr. (WWE’s Angel Garza). Kid re-emerged in IMPACT in Summer 2021, defeating John Skyler on BTI in August, and has since been ever-present in the promotion.

Outside of IMPACT, Laredo Kid has also wrestled several matches in AEW in the past few years, first teaming with The Lucha Brothers against The Elite at Fyter Fest 2019, then teaming up again with Penta and Fenix against The Young Bucks and Brandon Cutler, and against Kenny Omega and The Good Brothers in March 2021.
