Report: LA Knight Planned For WWE SummerSlam

Fans inside Ford Field for WWE SummerSlam on Saturday, August 5 seemingly won't miss out on an appearance from LA Knight. 

According to insider account Better Wrestling Experience, LA Knight is planned for SummerSlam and he is currently scheduled to be involved in a segment or angle at the pay-per-view. Knight's plans could be changed to a match, however. It is unknown who Knight will be opposite at SummerSlam. 

The former IMPACT World Champion has established himself as one of the most popular talents on the WWE roster in 2023 but his booking has yet to reflect his popularity, with Knight regularly losing on WWE TV. He was tipped as one of the favourites to win the men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match earlier this year but WWE ultimately booked Damian Priest to win the match instead.

The latest reports have noted that Knight will receive a renewed WWE push after SummerSlam and that Vince McMahon has joined Triple H in becoming a fan of the former Eli Drake.
