Report: LA Knight Set To Receive Push After WWE WrestleMania 39

LA Knight reportedly in for a big push following WWE WrestleMania 39

WWE have big plans for LA Knight, according to a new report.

WrestlingNews.co reported that people within WWE are very happy with his work, as well as the crowd reactions he has been receiving at live events.

LA Knight ditched his former Max Dupri persona when Paul 'Triple H' Levesque became WWE's Chief Content Officer last summer. The belief among those that WrestlingNews.co spoke to is that Levesque is looking to do more with him following WrestleMania 39.

The 40-year-old doesn't currently have a match at the Showcase of the Immortals, but WWE reportedly reached out to Steve Austin about working with him in Los Angeles, a sign of their trust in the superstar.

WrestlingNews.co's report also noted that people in the company were very happy with how he handled the creative he was presented in the Bray Wyatt feud earlier this year. Some were worried that the feud might hurt him, but he ran with everything that he was given, and Knight's efforts did not go unnoticed.

LA Knight last performed on this past Monday's episode of Raw, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. It is unknown at this time whether Levesque's plans for Knight include a future programme with The American Nightmare, or whoever happens to be Undisputed WWE Universal Champion after WrestleMania.
