The Bella Twins Leaving WWE
The Bella Twins have seemingly officially departed WWE
WWE Hall of Famers Nikki and Brie Bella are leaving the company and starting a new chapter as the 'Garcia Twins'.
Speculation began after they changed the name of their social media accounts, with People later confirming that they were departing WWE and going back to using their own names.
Their Sirius XM podcast has also been renamed The Nikki & Brie Show, having previous been named The Bellas Podcast, as the names 'Nikki Bella', 'Brie Bella' and 'The Bella Twins' are trademarked by WWE.
In a clip from the show, Nikki and Brie spoke about their WWE departures, with Nikki saying: "When our contract came up with WWE - mutually we all knew, we just needed to head into this new chapter".
There have been apparent issues between the two sides of late, stemming from January's Raw is XXX show. Nikki and Brie were advertised for the show, but ended up not appearing on the night.
They subsequently called out WWE for failing to adequately represent the so-called women's revolution on the show. Nikki later said that WWE had no creative plans for her and Brie at Raw is XXX.
