Report: Latest On Cesaro Months On From WWE Exit

Cesaro has been away from professional wrestling since his WWE contract expired back in February. The former WWE Tag Team Champion reportedly knew his value and he exited Vince McMahon's company after both parties were unable to agree to terms on a new deal. 

There has been little word on Cesaro beyond that he had yet to accept any independent wrestling bookings but an update on The Swiss Cyborg has emerged courtesy of Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

According to Meltzer, Cesaro has been 'laying low' and taking time off 'for family reasons with a young child.' There is nothing definite on Cesaro returning to WWE but 'there is a feeling' the 41-year-old will return to the company because he is comfortable with WWE and the organisation have been handing out big deals recently. 

The only thing confirmed, though, is that Cesaro has been in talks with Conrad Thompson about Starrcast and he has considered some projects he would not be able to do if he went back to WWE.

There is no word on if Tony Khan has approached Cesaro about appearing in All Elite Wrestling.
