Report: Madison Rayne Leaving Impact Wrestling

She's pursuing a career outside of wrestling...

Madison Rayne, most recently the color commentator on broadcasts of Impact Wrestling, is leaving the promotion, and is taking a job outside of the wrestling industry, according to reports from both PWInsider and The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Rayne herself has not yet confirmed the news on social media.

As such, no word has been given on who will be Rayne's replacement. Impact's next broadcast of new content will air on Tuesday, January 5, as they will airing best-ofs for the remainder of 2020.

One possibility for a replacement is Matt Striker, who recently filled in on commentary on a recent episode of Impact.

Across several tenures with Impact (beginning in 2009), Rayne held the Knockouts championship on five occasions between 2010 and 2014. She was also a former two-time Knockouts Tag Team champion, and was most notably a long-standing member of the Beautiful People faction.

Her most recent tenure with Impact began in 2019, after leaving Ring of Honor. After another stint as a wrestler, Rayne joined husband Josh Mathews on the commentary team during 2020.
