Report: Many Former ROH Talents Seemingly Not Being Brought Back For Supercard Of Honor

Several talents appear to be done with ROH

Prior to the promotion's self-imposed hiatus and all talent being released from their contracts at the end of 2021, Ring Of Honor had a big roster featuring the likes of RUSH, Rhett Titus, Tracy Williams, Rey Horus, Shane Taylor, and Tony Deppen.

Many former members of the roster will seemingly not be a part of the new Ring Of Honor, though.

Much remains to be revealed about new owner Tony Khan's plans for the promotion but Fightful Select reported that numerous former ROH talents were hopeful of being brought back for the company's reboot but they have not heard anything from ROH's new management.

Fightful also noted that these talents should be "operating on the assumption that they won't be brought in to the new company if they don't currently have a deal, but that could change."

While many talents seemingly won't be back, The Briscoes, Bandido, Jonathan Gresham, and Joe Hendry have been booked for Supercard Of Honor.

Supercard Of Honor will air on pay-per-view from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas, on Friday, April 1. Check out the lineup below:

  • Jonathan Gresham (c) vs. Bandido (c) - ROH Undisputed World Championship
  • The Briscoes (c) vs. FTR - ROH World Tag Team Championship
  • Swerve Strickland vs. Alex Zayne
  • Jay Lethal vs. Lee Moriarty
  • Joe Hendry in action
  • Ninja Mack in action
