Report: MMA Fighter Offered WWE Contract

Another MMA fighter could be on their way to WWE

Plenty of MMA fighters have made the jump to professional wrestling in recent years and the likes of Ronda Rousey, Riddle, Shayna Baszler, Marina Shafir, and Paige VanZant are all under contract with either WWE or All Elite Wrestling.

Another fighter looks set to transition to professional wrestling and Dave Meltzer reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that Bellator's Valerie Loureda was offered a contract by WWE while she was in attendance for Tuesday's NXT TV taping. There is no word on if Loureda has accepted the deal although she revealed on Wednesday that she had been training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

The 23-year-old also took part in WWE's Dallas tryout over WrestleMania weekend and she was at AT&T Stadium for The Showcase Of The Immortals.

In MMA, Loureda is a part of Dan Lambert's American Top Team and has a 4-1 MMA record, having defeated Taylor Turner, Tara Graff, Larkyn Dasch, and Colby Fletcher. She also has 900,000 Instagram followers.
