Report: More Departures From WWE HQ

Corporate restructuring continues

WWE's budget cuts continued yesterday.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that "a few employees" at WWE HQ were let go on July 1. How many employees were fired is currently unknown, but some of those released were from the marketing department.

Cuts within Titan Towers are reportedly set to be a regular occurrence going forward, according to Andrew Zarian of the Mat Men Pro Wrestling Podcast

Zarian tweeted: "WWE talent and staff shakeups are something I was told would be more common heading into this new era for the company. When I pressed this person as to why their response was 'To be honest it's needed...'"

WWE has been going through corporate restructuring in recent months and 35 employees from WWE HQ were let go in May. Employees at WWE's international offices were also fired as the company is looking to streamline departments into smaller divisions. The company reportedly re-examined their internal structure earlier this year and discovered "a lot of redundancy in duties."

The company has also been cutting costs amongst the talent roster and 35 wrestlers have been let go since April.
