Report: More Details On AEW's Chris Jericho Testing Positive For COVID-19

He appeared on Dynamite throughout September

During a recent edition of Talk Is Jericho, former AEW World Champion Chris Jericho revealed he tested positive for COVID-19 back in September.

Jericho said: "This is interesting because I haven't really told anyone this, but I tested positive back in maybe September and I had zero symptoms. I'm one of the ones that you said, you know, I had my 10 days in isolation, stayed away from everybody and I didn't have a symptom.

"I didn't even know that I had it. I went and got a test just in general and it's one of those ones where they said you're positive. I was like, 'Really, are you serious?' And I had nothing. I didn't have a headache, I didn't have a cough, which I guess is a very lucky thing... It wasn't a false positive because I took three different tests and they were all positive."

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter's Dave Meltzer, Jericho tested positive after returning home from the September 9 and September 10 AEW TV tapings. He was reportedly in contact with someone who had tested positive, which prompted him to get the test.

After discovering he had contracted the virus, the former AEW World Champion quarantined for 10 days from approximately September 11 to September 21. He then tested negative for the virus on September 22 ahead of the next set of AEW tapings on September 23 and 24.
