Report: Multiple IMPACT Wrestling Champions Not Under Contract

Multiple champions in IMPACT Wrestling are currently performing in the promotion without being under contract, according to a report from Fightful Select. 

IMPACT World Tag Team Champions The Good Brothers' deals with IMPACT expired earlier this year but Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows committed to working in the promotion until at least late August. The tag team also have dates with New Japan Pro-Wrestling where Karl Anderson is the NEVER Openweight Champion.  

They aren't the only IMPACT champions working without a deal and Fightful noted Chelsea Green is a free agent. She recently captured the Knockouts World Tag Team Championships with VXT partner Deonna Purrazzo at Emergence. 

Purrazzo is under contract with IMPACT and she is set to open negotiations with the promotion soon. When exactly her contract expires is unclear, though, as her original IMPACT deal was due to expire at the end of 2022 but time was added when The Virtuosa was given a raise. This might include an option year that would extend her deal until the end of 2023 and IMPACT believe that is the case. 

Purrazzo has been one of the Knockouts division's top stars since she joined the company in 2020 and she is a two-time Knockouts Champion.
