MVP Advertised As Wrestling At Upcoming WWE House Shows

He hasn't wrestled since February

If promotional material is to be believed, MVP is set to the return to the ring when WWE resumes its touring schedule later this summer.

Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the matter on Sunday morning's Wrestling Observer Radio, noting that MVP is advertised for two house shows in the month of August.

MVP is scheduled to team with client Bobby Lashley to take on Drew McIntyre and Kofi Kingston. The matches are scheduled for Saturday, August 7 in Fort Myers, FL, and Sunday, August 8 in Gainesville, FL.

While WWE.com doesn't list the specific match on their end, the Hertz Arena in Fort Myers and Stephen C. O'Connell Center in Gainesville specifically advertise that bout.

These would be MVP's first matches since February, when he sustained a knee injury. The injury occurred on the February 15 episode of Monday Night Raw, when MVP teamed with Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander in a loss to Riddle and The Lucha House Party.

Since then, MVP has remained highly prolific, acting as mouthpiece for Lashley.
