Report: Naomi Expected To Make WWE Return

The two sides have been negotiating the return for months

Though her former WWE Women's Tag Team Championship partner Mercedes Moné (FKA Sasha Banks) made her debut for New Japan Pro-Wrestling at Wrestle Kingdom 17, it appears that Naomi is likely to return to WWE, at least according to a new report.

Speaking on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live, Bryan Alvarez noted that his impression is that Naomi will be returning to WWE, saying: "My belief is she will be returning to WWE, because she will almost certainly be returning to WWE".

He did not indicate any return date or timeline for her return.

Naomi has been absent from WWE since she and Moné walked out of the company prior to the May 16, 2022 episode of Monday Night Raw. The then-Women's Tag Team Champions were dissatisfied with their creative direction. WWE subsequently stripped them of their titles and suspended the pair indefinitely.

It is believed that Naomi has travelled to Japan in order to support Banks during her NJPW debut at Wrestle Kingdom.
