Zack Sabre Jr. Joins TMDK At NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17

Zack Sabre Jr. is the latest member of TMDK!

Only days after Suzuki-gun officially disbanded at the end of 2022, Zack Sabre Jr. has joined another faction.

ZSJ faced Ren Narita in the final of the NJPW World Television Title Tournament at Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4 inside the Tokyo Dome. Both wrestlers faced off in a competitive technical wrestling bout and Sabre ultimately came out on top after applying the Cross Armbreaker, forcing Narita to tap out.

Following the win, Mikey Nicholls and Shane Haste headed to the ring and offered ZSJ a TMDK t-shirt. Sabre initially teased throwing the t-shirt away but he opted to put the t-shirt on, confirming he was the latest addition to The Mighty Don't Kneel.

With the addition, TMDK now consists of Zack Sabre Jr., Mikey Nicholls, Shane Haste, and Bad Dude Tito. JONAH was previously the stable's leader but he exited New Japan to return to WWE as Bronson Reed.

Sabre joining TMDK was somewhat of a reunion as he teamed with the group in Pro Wrestling NOAH between 2013 and 2015.

ZSJ also made his feelings clear about the current industrial action in the United Kingdom, telling Prime Minister Rishi Sunak to pay nurses a living wage, before he called the politician a d**khead.
