Report: New WWE Signing Awaiting Creative

A new WWE signing is seemingly stuck in limbo.

Chelsea Green has been rumoured for a WWE return in recent months and Fightful Select have reported that The Hot Mess is signed with WWE and has been for "quite some time." She hasn't resurfaced on WWE programming, though, as she is still awaiting creative from the company.

Speculation about Green's return was fuelled recently after she shuttered her OnlyFans page. The Major Wrestling Figure Podcast have also had to limit producing new merchandise for Green due to her WWE signing, according to Fightful.

Green previously performed in WWE as an in-ring talent from 2018 until 2021 but her run with the company was plagued by injuries.

Green returned to IMPACT Wrestling following her WWE release and she went on to become a one-time Knockouts World Tag Team Champion with Deonna Purrazzo. Green told her partner in November 2022 that she was "going home", finishing up with IMPACT in the process.

Triple H has looked to restock the women's division since becoming Chief Content Officer, re-signing the likes of Candice LeRae, Tegan Nox, Mia Yim, and Emma.
