Report: No Plans For Brock Lesnar To Challenge For WWE World Heavyweight Title

Brock Lesnar won't be facing Seth Rollins anytime soon

Seth Rollins' first challengers for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship are unclear but one of them won't be Brock Lesnar, according to Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio.

"They are doing another (Brock Lesnar vs Cody Rhodes) match, I don't know if it'll be in London (Money in the Bank) or it'll be in Detroit (SummerSlam), but they are doing another match. And I did check and there is nothing in the cards right now for Lesnar with Seth Rollins. They could do it later, but there is nothing in the plans right now. It's just Lesnar with Cody," Meltzer said.

Brock Lesnar has been feuding with Cody Rhodes since the Raw after WrestleMania 39 and their series is currently tied at one win apiece following matches at Backlash and Night of Champions. Cody issued an open challenge to Lesnar on Monday's Raw and reports have noted their programme might run all the way until SummerSlam.

Seth Rollins defeated AJ Styles to become the inaugural World Heavyweight Champion at Night of Champions on Saturday, May 27. The two men teamed together on the May 29 edition of Raw to defeat Judgment Day's Finn Balor and Damian Priest.
