Report: Update On WWE's SummerSlam Plans For Cody Rhodes

Latest on WWE's summer plans for Cody Rhodes

With their feud currently tied at one win apiece, the programme between Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar looks set to continue, especially after The American Nightmare issued an open challenge to Brock on the May 29 edition of Monday Night Raw.

The next match between Cody and Lesnar has not been officially confirmed but WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport there is a good chance the programme will continue all the way until SummerSlam on August 5.

"Yeah, there's a good shot this story could go all the way through to SummerSlam, especially if Cody and Roman's not on a table for Ford Field. So Brock is always going to be a big-time matchup unless it's, you know, not to take anything away from Omos but that was a one-time thing. I'd expect Brock to be back at the top of the card at some point, if not main eventing," WrestleVotes said.

This would appear likely as separate reports have indicated that Cody Rhodes is scheduled to be in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match. Lesnar and Rhodes are also unlikely to have a match on Raw since Brock hasn't had a match on the red brand since 2002.
