Report: Notes On WWE's Plans For Money In The Bank And Backlash 2021

WWE has its plans in place for after WrestleMania 37

The wrestling world is still eagerly anticipating the excitement of WrestleMania 37 but, as is required when it comes to long-term planning, WWE already have their eyes on the events to follow 'The Showcase Of The Immortals'.

PWInsider is reporting that the pay-per-view that will come immediately after WrestleMania 37 will be Money In The Bank, which in turn will be followed by Backlash. This structure follows the same series of pay-per-view events that WWE presented in 2020.

Money In The Bank will be presented on Sunday 16 May, while Backlash will be shown on Sunday 20 June, with both shows emanating from WWE's new ThunderDome at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

Otis and Asuka were the big winners at last year's Money In The Bank event, with the titular ladder matches running concurrently at the WWE company headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.

Last year's Backlash, meanwhile, was headlined by Edge and Randy Orton in what was heavily billed by WWE as 'The Greatest Wrestling Match Ever'.
