Report: NXT Appearance Pulled From WWE Raw

Grayson Waller was absent from WWE Raw

An appearance from an NXT star was seemingly scrapped ahead of Monday Night Raw.

Reports from GiveMeSport and WRKD Wrestling both noted ahead of Raw that Grayson Waller was scheduled to be on the show on Monday, March 20 as WWE continues the build to his match with Johnny Gargano at Stand & Deliver. Monday Night Raw ultimately came and went without a live appearance from Waller, though, and his only appearance on the show came in a video package recapping his beatdown of Johnny Gargano at the former NXT Champion's home last week.

It was noted by WRKD Wrestling following the show that "plans changed throughout the day regarding Waller, sadly." Johnny Gargano was still on Raw as he suffered defeat at the hands of Dominik Mysterio.

Stand & Deliver will air on Saturday, April 1 ahead of night one of WrestleMania 39. The issues between Waller and Gargano began back in December 2021 after Waller attacked Johnny Wrestling following his farewell speech to NXT. Gargano left WWE following the segment as his contract had expired, later returning as a main roster talent in August 2022.

Gargano was revealed as Waller's opponent a couple of weeks ago when the former Matty Wahlberg's issues with Shawn Michaels came to a head.
