Report: NXT Stars Pitched For Main Roster Call Up
Multiple NXT superstars pitched to be called up to Raw and SmackDown
It was announced that every WWE superstar would be eligible for the upcoming WWE Draft, which takes place on the April 28 edition of Friday Night SmackDown and the May 1 Monday Night Raw, and this will include wrestlers from NXT too.
A report from PWInsider Elite has shed some light on the potential names from NXT who may be in line for a call up during this shake up.
Former NXT UK Champion Ilja Dragunov has reportedly been someone pitched to join the SmackDown brand specifically, which would make sense given that his long-term rival GUNTHER is currently sitting on the blue show.
Additionally, names such as Cameron Grimes, Zoey Stark, and Pretty Deadly have been thrown around as potential call-ups in the near future. Grimes hasn’t been seen in NXT for quite some time at this point, Stark has been getting some shots on the likes of Main Event and even made a cameo in the Royal Rumble earlier this year, and Pretty Deadly have supposedly been turning heads with impressive performances and their charisma.
