Over the past decade, WrestleMania weekend has seen several stars bow out of NXT and receive their hyped main roster call-up, with the Raw after Mania often featuring debut appearances from former NXT stars.

In the past the likes of Paige, Enzo & Cass, and The Revival have made the jump to main after Mania, and according to a report from PWInsider, Cameron Grimes looks likely to follow in their footsteps with a main roster call-up after the ‘Showcase of the Immortals’.

The report states that there have been ‘rumblings’ about a main roster call-up for Grimes, following on from reports stating that the former NXT North American Champion has been kept off NXT TV whilst he awaits creative plans for a main roster run, and that several people have been pulling for Grimes to be called up after a three-year run in NXT.

It’s not been revealed whether Grimes will wrestle for Raw or SmackDown when he eventually gets called up, although the former Million Dollar Champion did recently work a dark match against Ashante "Thee" Adonis before a recent SmackDown taping.
